This parish merged with Dunston, St. Nicholas, to form Dunston, St. Nicholas with Christ Church (1977) see Dunston, St. Nicholas with Christ Church for registers after 1977

Dunston Christ Church was created in 1872 from Whickham St. Mary.

Parts of this parish became part of these parishes: Dunston St. Nicholas with Christ Church.
