Catalogue Description
Barnard Castle Parish Church'Barnard Castle Parish Records' were collected by E.R. Hanby Holmes as churchwarden of St. Mary's Church, Barnard Castle, secretary of the Parochial Church Council, and a member of the Ancient Select Vestry and various sub-committees. The papers mainly cover the period 1928 - c.1950, but Mission Hall records of an earlier period (1886 - 1914) are also included. These appear to have been collected by H.C. Watson as a trustee.
These records include a copy or copies of information dating back to 1792.
