Records deposited as a gift:

7 June 2002 Acc:2849(D)

The records were the property of David Staines, A.R.I.B.A., architect, Durham County Council, and refer to the building of the new council offices at Aykley Heads (County Hall). Mr Staines left Durham County Council in 1965 or 1966 to work in Newcastle City Architect's Department, working on housing and schools. He retired in 1977 and died on 14 April 2002.
