12 September 1888 Probate of the will of Andrew Murray Davison of 17 Ellison Place, Newcastle upon Tyne, gentleman (dated 11 October 1886) devising the above mentioned house to trustees for his wife during her widowhood and thence to his daughters as tenants in common. Devises £4000 to trustee to pay income to James Guthrie Davidson (his son) and £2000 to trustees to pay the income to Mrs. Anne McLarand (his daughter). The residue of his estate is bequeathed upon trust for Jane Elizabeth Davidson and Mary Simms Davidson and his widow Jane Davidson in equal shares as specified
