E.R. Hanby Holmes was elected to the Barnard Castle Urban District Council in 1930. Copies of the minutes and agendas sent to him have, for the most part, been destroyed being mere duplicates of the signed copies of the minutes to be found in the records of the former Barnard Castle U.D.C. deposited in this Office (UD/BC).
