Catalogue Contents

Sunderland, St John (Ref: EP/Su.SJ )

Chapel built in 1769, to take the overflow from the congregation of the Parish Church (Holy Trinity). During 1875 it became a parish in its own right. The building, on the corner of Prospect Row and Barrack Street, was demolished in 1972 after a fire.
