Barnard Castle Wesleyan Day SchoolBecame Barnard Castle Council Mixed School, 19 April 1907; Barnard Castle Council Senior Mixed School, 1919; Barnard Castle Secondary Modern School, 3 July 1945. On 19 December 1958 pupils and teachers were transferred to new premises, became Barnard Castle Baliol Secondary School, c.1970. School amalgamated with Teesdale Secondary School to form new Teesdale Comprehensive School, 23 July 1976.
