Catalogue Description

Thornley (Kelloe) Board Schools

Comprising Thornley Board Boys' School, Thornley Board Girls' School, Thornley Board Infants' School and Thornley Evening Continuation School. Thornley Board Boys' and Girls' Schools became Thornley Council Boys' and Girls' Schools in 1904, and closed in 1929 when a new Senior Mixed school was opened.
