12 May 1702 (1) Robert Spearman of Durham, gentleman, and Hannah his wife (daughter and heir of William Webster of Stockton, merchant, deceased) (2) Nicholas Hall and Michael Johnson of Furnivall's Inn, Middlesex, gentlemen (3) William Scrafton and John Scrafton of Brotton, Yorkshire, yeomen and William Webster of Cragg House near Brotton, yeoman Copy of release by (1)and (2) to (3) of a messuage and lands as specified at Brotton and Craggs and 17 riggs of land at Skiningrove. Covenant for the suffering of a Common Recovery and declaration of the uses of the same to the Straftons and Webster as specified. Consideration: £97 by the Scraftons to (1) and £303 by Webster to (1)
