Probate of the will of Jane Lawson of Neasham (2 June 1557), bequeathing a black velvet vestment to Hurworth Church where she is to be buried, £6 13s to John Fawcett the priest there to pray for her soul, bequeathing her interest in a lease of land at Cramlington, Northumberland, and all her corn sown at Lytle Burdon with the whole draught of oxen to her cousin Henry Lawson. 29 November and 15 December 1557
