Robert Ballery, J.P., accused of extorting, on 3 July 1856, the sum of £1 from George Spoors and the sum of £1 from George Stovey, as a result of their poaching on his land, and as a guarantee against their being prosecuted for the offence of poaching, 6 November 1857
