15 June 1713 (1) Dame Elizabeth Lawson of Isell Hall, Cumberland, widow, relict and executrix of Sir Wilfrid Lawson, late of the same place, bart., and William Pennington of Muncaster, Cumberland, bart. (2) George Ledgard of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, esq. Lease [release missing] of three closes of meadow called High Geswick and low Geswick and a part of pasture called Wilden, as the same is enclosed with the said Geswicks, in the manor of Cotherstone and Hunderthwaite in the parish of Romaldkirk [boundaries defined] Consideration: 10s.
