Records of James Alexander Wilson as medical student at Glasgow University, general practitioner (in the practice of Dr. P. Stewart) and senior partner in the medical practice of Dr. James Alexander Wilson and partners, Field Hall, Langley Moor, 1885-1947
These records relate to James Alexander Wilson's years as a medical student (1885-1890), his employment at Langley Moor by Dr. P. Stewart (1890- ), and his period as senior partner in the Langley Moor practice of Dr. James Alexander Wilson, M.B.C.M. (Glasgow), and his partners Dr. Burnett and Dr. Andrew A. McNish. The practice had premises at No.119 High Street South, Langley Moor, and a surgery at Broompark. Dr. J.A. Wilson was medical officer to Brandon Hospital.
Other material concerning Dr. J.A. Wilson was donated to Beamish North of England Open Air Museum in 1972 and 1997.
