Catalogue Description
This collection consists of audio tapes of interviews with women who worked at the Aycliffe Royal Ordnance Factory between 1939 and 1945. The interviews were conducted by Richard Brown. The collection also contains transcripts of the interviews.The tapes and transcripts are made available to public inspection under the following conditions:
1. Researchers must undertake not to reveal the real names and addresses of interviewees and place names and other identifiers must be disguised.
2. The re-contacting of interviewees is prohibited without the permission of the depositor
