John William Mole played 5 matches for Durham 1908-1910 as a wicketkeeper. He played for Chester le Street and for Wallsend.
Henry Thornton Gray, born 1881 in Chester le Street. In 1891 Census he can be found at Red Rose Terrace, Chester le Street, living with his widowed mother, Jane (50); and siblings: Tom (24), mechanical draughtsman; Frederick (20), draper's clerk; Jane (19); Ethel (17); Charles (11). Ten years later Henry worked as assistant marine engineer and Charles as draper's assistant. They lived at the same address, but their surname was spelled "Grey"
1911 Census shows only three of them at 2 Red Rose Terrace: Tom, consulting engineer; sister Jane and Henry Thornton (28), draughtsman.
According to Newcastle Evening Chronicle article from 6 May 1911, Harry Gray emigrated to Canada. He died as a trooper in the Royal Canadian Dragoons on 23 March 1918. He was buried at Vimy Memorial, France
