Known as 'Jimmy Durham'; James Francis Durham was found on the battlefield of Ginnis, Egypt, in 1885 as a child, aged 2 years, after his father had been killed. He was adopted by the battalion and later enlisted into it and married an English girl. He died at Fermoy, Ireland, on 8 August 1910
