Durham City Hockey Club (Ref: D/DCH 1-51)
Durham City Hockey Club was formed in 1953, originally called Durham Men Teachers' Hockey Club. The Club played at a series of venues, including Brancepeth Army Camp, Durham Technical College, Durham City Cricket Club and Neville's Cross College. In 1979 a women's section was included. In 1989 the club joined Brancepeth Cricket Club to form Brandon Sports Club and build a permanent home.
