Photograph of the exterior of Lidster's greengrocery with Michael Lidster standing in the doorway, c.1890 According to Kelly's Post Office Directories, M. Lidster traded as a fruiterer and greengrocer at 1 Cheapside, Tudhoe Grange, in 1890. In the 1902, 1910, 1914 and 1921 directories he is shown as trading at 41a High Street, Spennymoor. In 1925 and 1929 Mrs. Elizabeth Lidster is given as trading there. In 1934 Miss Forence Lidster is shown as trading at 45 High Street, Spennymoor. In 1938 no Lidster is shown.
