Church hall (Ref: EP/Whm section 03)

The parish of St. Mary the Virgin, Whickham originally had two church halls: a Parochial Hall and a small Rectory Hall. The Parochial Hall was condemned as unsafe in May 1974 and was demolished. It was rebuilt in 1976 and was recently refurbished primarily by a grant form the Big Lottery Fund with a new main hall, entrance and garden during the period 2010 - 2011
