Darlington St. Columba Parish (Ref: EP/Da.SCo)

This parish is now united with Darlington, St Hilda. The earliest volume in this archive dates from 1948 (EP/SCo 14/1). A newspaper (or parish magazine?) cutting describes the "...first sale of works at St Columba in 50 years..." (25 April 1949) which is in aid of the new church building. The sale was the first large event held in that new building.
The current church features a modern stained glass window created by Leadline Studios and double etched doors by Anita Pate. Saints Hilda and Columba are depicted.
