Catalogue Description

The last service took place in the mission hall on 20 November 1972 and the mission hall was closed.
The parishes of Gateshead, St. Mary, the Venerable Bede and St. Edmund were united by Order in Council of October 1972. Activities continued in the united St Edmund's parish.
