Catalogue Description

Mayfair School, Darlington

Mayfair School, formerly Mayfair Junior Training Centre, opened on 26 June 1969, administered by the Department of Health. It became part of the education system on 1 April 1971. It closed on 17 July 1992, when it amalgamated with Glebe and Salters Lane Schools, Darlington, to form Beaumont Hill School, Darlington.
