Catalogue Description
Formerly Moorside Modern School and known also as Moorside Community Technology College.The school was located at Dunelm Road, Consett. It was opened on 1 September 1959 as a community school for children aged 11-16, with no Sixth Form.
In 1976 the school became Consett Moorside Comprehensive School.
The school was closed in December 2011, when it amalgamated with Consett Community Sports College to create Consett Academy.
