28 & 29 May 1705 (1) Henry Burdon of Stockton, gent, and John Wood of Norton, yeoman, surviving trustees and joint executors of the will of Thomas Jessopp of Stockton, merchant, deceased (2) Leonard Dale of Whitby, Yorkshire, merchant Lease and release of a burgage messuage or tenement in Stockton, with one garden and piece of ground on the foreside in equal breadth from the garden so far as the forefront extends towards the North; also one garth; one orchard and maltkiln on the back side thereof; abutting on the property of Thomas Maynard on the south, on the West Row on the west, on the lands of the heirs of James Hope on the north and on the Town Street on the east Consideration: £260

25 April 1715 (1) John Wood of Ryton, North Yorkshire, yeoman (2) Thomas Sparrow of Stockton, tailor Lease [release missing] of that brick part of the house late belonging to Thomas Jessop, deceased, in the West Row in Stockton with one borough-right belonging to it; also the orchard and garden on the back side of it; that part of the kiln standing into the orchard as the same is now in a dwelling house being about 7 yards in length with all the walls belonging to the orchard and one half of the well in the back side with free egress and regress to and from the same; abutting the property of John Woods on the south, the property late of James Hope on the north, the Town Street on the east, and the West Row on the west
