Catalogue Description

Deeds relating to copyhold premises in Bishopwearmouth

Panns abutting on "the dog-leap dividing Sunderland from Bishopwearmouth" on the east, King's Street (later Queen Street or Low Street) on the north, and Marleybank on the south.

These deeds have been kept in their original bundles (Nos. 1-15 and Nos. 16-34) as dictated by conveyancing practice, but it should be noted that Nos. 16, 17 and 18 include the title to the east part as well as to the west part of the property.
