Probate of the will of John Robinson of St John Wapping, Middlesex, merchant, (1 January 1739/1740) devising his real estate in Stragleton in the parish of Whitby, Yorkshire in trust for his daughter Jane Sykes and the heirs of her body as specified and his lands at Harton held under a lease for 21 years from the Bishop of Durham to his daughter Jane. 13 December 1749
