Assignment by (1) to (2) of: a lease for 21 years from 8 May 1866 of the lead mines and quarries called Brandon Walls, Thorney Brow and Stottfield Burn a lease for 21 years from 30 November 1868 of Chester Garth House and Pasture House farms and a moiety of the minerals under 14a. 2r. Sp. thereof a lease for 21 years of the other moiety of the minerals for 21 years from 24 June 1867 and all ores lying upon any of the premises with all machinery and plant as recited Consideration: £45000 (parchment, 2 membranes, embossed seal of (2))

Bargain and sale of all minerals lying on the lands specified to be assigned to (2) with all plant and machinery. (1) covenants to stand possessed of lands and mines as specified at Brandon Walls, Thorney Brow, Stottfield Burn, Chester Garth House and Pasture House, upon trust for (2), until licences to alienate are obtained from the Ecclesiastical Commissioners Endorsed 'not used' Consideration: £45,000
