Robert Johnston Dobson married Sarah (Sallie) Ellen Stewart of Benwell and settled in Willington c.1906-7. They had a daughter, Elsie, (born 21 November 1908, died 1991) and a son, Frederick Stewart, (born 28 February 1910, died 21 September 1984)
