Russell family of Brancepeth (Ref: D/X 1594/12)

The volume bears the bookplate of Rev. John Brewster, M.A., who was Rector of Egglescliffe from 1814 and Vicar of Greatham from 1818. He is believed to have been one of the original subscribers to Surtees' History
