Leonard Shaftoe, rector of the church of Gateshead; Robert Solten of Gateshead, merchant, and John Cooper of Gateshead, Fuller and Dyer on behalf of the four and twenty vestrymen (2) William Cotesworth of Gateshead, merchant Grant of wayleave from (1) to (2) for a term of 11 years for all land in the parish of Gateshead for conveying coal to or from Bencholme [Bensham] Colliery in the parish of Gateshead and also from the colliery belonging to Sir Ralph Carr called the Fieldhouse Colliery in the parish of Gateshead and to or from any staithes on the River Tyne Consideration: £50 p.a. payable at the school or The Anchorage within St. Mary's churchyard for the use of the inhabitants of the town and parish of Gateshead
