Hownes Gill Viaduct [Hownsgill] on the Stockton and Darlington Railway, 1858 A large mounted photograph of the viaduct with a stationary early steam locomotive on it, and a smaller printed copy of the same. There are two men in the photo, one on the locomotive where the fireman would stand and the other nearby on the track.
