Private Ernest Branton of Hull
Ernest Branton was a Private in the 18th Battalion The Durham Light Infantry (service number 75291). He was the son of John and Mary Ann Branton of 48 Victor Street, Hull, and was killed in action on 30 August 1918, aged 19. He is buried in the Meteren Military Cemetery, France ( see Commonwealth War Graves Commission website)
