Bequeaths to his younger son John, his father-in-law Peter Johnson and his brother William Lord Auckland and his son-in-law Henry Methold all his manors, tenements and tithes in Preston upon Tees, Norton, Brandon, Redworth, Ramshaw, Coxhoe, Crossgate, Bishop Auckland, Heworth, North Riding, Downing Street in London. Devises £1500 to be shared between his 8 daughters: Dorothea, Maria, Catherine, Dulcibella, Anne, Emmaline, Eleanor and Charlotte.
