Catalogue Description

These records were deposited by James Macgregor Marriott, long time employee of Vaux and Associated Breweries, Sunderland. He worked as a District Manager. This collection includes many of the reports he wrote on public houses in the Houghton le Spring and Chester le Street areas. He died on his birthday on 14 February 2012, aged 95.
