Catalogue Description

George Harrison and Margaret Ann Pattison married in 1900. They had one son, Sydney Allan (b. 1905). George worked for a vet in Bishop Auckland known as Jimmy Dean, or James Gowans Deans, in the 1920s, where he learnt to drive a car. He later became a chauffeur for Vaux Breweries.

Frederick Whitehouse married Isabella Swinburn in 1903 and had 4 daughters: Gladys (born 26 August 1904, died 2006); Dorothy (b. 6 April 1909); Miriam (b. 24 September 1914); and Norah (b. 6 May 1919). The family lived in Croxdale and attended the Primitive Methodist Church there. Sydney Harrison and Dorothy married in 1933 and had 1 daughter.
