Hedley Gent White, manager of Hownsgill Plate Mill (Ref: D/X 1993)
Hedley Gent White worked in Hownsgill Plate Mill from the age of 16. He gradually worked his way up until he became a shift foreman and, eventually, manager. He was very dedicated to his work for the company. He died aged 56.
