Lanchester Union Unitary Authority. White le Head and Tantobie joint sewerage, drawing No. 1, 1 October 1891 Plan shows the sewerage system connecting the above mentioned villages with the intermittent downward filtration area by Tanfield Leith Hall. Note on the plan states that it refers to a contract between J. E. Parker, engineer and the Guardians of the Poor of the Lanchester Union dated 12 November 1891 Scale: 88 feet to 1 inch [1:1056]

Parker, engineer, Lanchester Plan shows: - general view of the area and the sewerage system connecting the villages, scale 88 feet to 1 inch [1:1056] - outfall sewer near Harperley Mill, scale: 200 feet to 1 inch [1:2400] - tank and the intermittent downward filtration area, scale 44 feet to 1 inch [1:528]
