Bede Kirk Trust (Ref: EP/BC 12/section 14)

The Bede Kirk Trust was created on 31 January 1923 by Robert Taylor Richardson who granted the house and hereditaments of Bede Kirk to trustees to accumulate income over 21 years and then be used by the trustees to further the work of the parish of Barnard Castle or the Church of England.
Bede Kirk was originally a church dating from the twelfth century before being altered to a farm.
