The citation summons William (probably Robert's brother) to appear before this court and stems from a Chancery case in which Margaret claimed buildings and land at Warkworth, Northumberland, as part of her dower. These buildings and land were held by William who claimed Margaret was never the lawful wife of Robert and thus had no right to this property he now took for his own, a certificate of citation, 28 and 30 August 1777

Letters to William Cochrane Esq of the New Brancepeth Coal Co. from White Barrett and Co., London, representing the Ecclesiastical Commissioners for England and also John Marley of the North Brancepeth Coal Co. Ltd. The letters concern the surrender of portions of mines to the latter company. This surrender is to be achieved by shortening the long and irregular barrier which separates the mines demised to Cochrane and others by lease dated 26 April 1883 from the adjoining mines of the North Brancepeth Coal Co. 10 December 1886 - 3 June 1887
