Charles Halkett Norborne Bowlby
He was the 4th son of Thomas Bowlby of Bishopwearmouth, and his first wife, Williamina, daughter of Major-General William Balfour. He died on the Charles Holmes out of Liverpool, which was wrecked in a storm near Aberbach, Fishguard, Pembrokeshire, Wales, on 25 October 1859

Thomas William Bowlby
He was the son of Captain Thomas Bowlby, R.A. of Bishopwearmouth, and married Frances Marion, daughter of Pultney Mien of Canonbie, Dumfries, Scotland. He died in 1860.
