Correspondence re 'Old Cemetery', detached closed churchyard, 1998-2015 Horden Old Cemetery was the detached graveyard of the parish church of Horden, St Mary. It was accessed originally from Cotsford Lane and, now, from Burden Court or Yoden Way. When closed it became at some point the responsibility of Easington District Council who removed all headstones, for safety reasons, but recorded all the inscriptions in a typed list. This file includes a photocopy of this list plus an index of the same, printed alphabetically by Christian name.
