These deeds relate to a deed of 20 May 1615 whereby Humphrey and Thomas Wharton conveyed a house in Trimdon and an annuity of £20 issuing from the Manor and Rectory of Trimdon to Robert Warde, Thomas Jackson, Peter Lister and Brian Pearson, to hold in trust to pay to William Lister as Vicar of Trimdon and for his successors in that office. In each of the leases dealing with lands held in common it is stated that these are to be divided. Also included are deeds relating to the Beckwith family (whose estates include Trimdon Manor and Rectory).
