(2) John Wailes of Northallerton, Yorkshire, Esquire Lease by (1) to (2) of a messuage and two oxgangs of land in Sedgefield as specified, for a term of three lives. Livery of Seisin endorsed. Rent: £1 ls 2d p.a. and 6/- p.a. or 3 pecks of wheat, whichever is demanded. (parchment, 1 membrane, pendant seal of (1))

Robert Price, Doctor of Laws, a prebendary of Durham Cathedral Copies of surrenders by (1) to (2) of lands at Sedgefield: (1) Harrison's Close (9 acres) (2) East Field Close (12 acres) (3) The East Field Close alias Hixon's Close (4) Four Closes called East Field Closes Upon trusts declared in an indenture of even date.
