Ethel May Tonkin (19 May 1902 - 10 September 1992) was the aunt of the depositor.
The depositor stated that it is known from letters that Ethel May Tonkin also worked at the Risley Ordnance Factory

Letter from the Superintendent, Royal Ordnance Factory Aycliffe, to Miss Tonkin stating that as the decision had been taken to close ROF Aycliffe Filling Factory, her services will not be required after her last shift, week ending 14 July 1945, and thanking her for her services, as well as giving her information about compensation if she has met with an injury during her service, 6 July 1945
