North Eastern Breweries Ltd.
This company was incorporated in 1896 from various existing brewery companies (see D/Va 117). Associated Breweries was incorporated in 1927, from Vaux and Sons Ltd. and the North Eastern Breweries Ltd., but the latter company appears to have traded under its own name until 1950. Associated Breweries became Vaux and Associated Breweries Ltd. in 1940
