Ref: ND/De 287Situated on the north bank of the Derwent, on the road between Corbridge, and West Auckland, 9 miles south-east of Riding Mill Station, in the Hexham Division of Northumberland
Ref: ND/De 539William Anderson, was the only son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Anderson of Yewdale Street, High Westwood; former Medomsley Junior, Sheffield United, and Barnsley full-back, and worked at Vickers Armstrong during the Second World War. He was appointed trainer to Lincoln City F.C. in 1945, and later became manager of the club. He stood as an Independent candidate for Park Ward in the Lincoln Municipal Elections, 1960
