Transcript of diary kept by a soldier (name unknown but formerly a reservist) in C. Company 2nd Battalion D.L.I. (This soldier was taken prisoner by the Germans in October, 1914 and the diary records the places to which he was taken and details of prison life and meals, etc. At the end of the diary are names and addresses, many of people in the Pelton area of County Durham), August 1914 to October 1916.
