These Records of Mainsforth Terrace Chapel largely consist of receipts and other financial papers although there are some plans, letters and other documents relating to the church. Three houses adjoining the chapel school room in Emma Street and Mainsforth Terrace were held in trust by the Chapel and rented to the caretakers.

Annual bundles of receipts for expenses incurred in the running of the chapel. They relate to payments for rent, rates, gas, coal, electricity, advertising and printing, stationery, insurance, salaries of choir master, organist and caretakers, income tax, charitable donations and bills for repairs to the building and its fitments, including the organ and the clock. (all the receipts are in original bundles, filed chronologically and secured) 31 December 1917 to 23 November 1934.

Annual bundles of receipts for expenses incurred re. the houses in Mainsforth Terrace and Emma Street. They relate to rent, rates, water rate, income tax, insurance and bills for general maintenance and repairs to the property. The receipts are arranged in original files and each file is attached to a housing account giving details of the tenants, the income from their rent payments and the balance in hand after the necessary bills have been paid. 1 July 1919 to 11 December 1933
