Maternal grandfather of John Bowron of West Park. His daughter Mary married Henry Bowron of Bowes at Brignall on 11 April 1814.

MRS. ABIGAIL HOLMES
Abigail Holmes (5 August 1823 - 25 March 1885) was a daughter of Thomas Langstaff and ---- Bowron (a daughter of Henry and Mary Bowron of Brignall, Yorkshire and sister to John and Henry Bowron born at Brignall). She married Joseph Holmes of Cotherstone, Yorkshire, North Riding, Gent.
EDWARD AND ISABELLA WALTON
He was a carpenter of Cotherstone who died 22 March 1860. She died on 9 August 1872 aged 80.
MRS. MARGARET HODGSON (NEE WALTON)
Baptised 9 July 1825, died childless on 20 March 1893. She was the third daughter of Edward and Isabella Walton and married Michael Hodgson of Langley Dale, farmer, (after 1861)
MR. MICHAEL HODGSON OF LANGLEYDALE, FARMER
born ? - died childless, 7 February 1870. He married Margaret Walton after 1861.
MRS. JANE MONKHOUSE (NEE WALTON)
Jane Monkhouse (8th June 1827 - 29 March 1903) was the youngest daughter of Edward and Isabella Walton.
JOHN BOWRON
John Bowron (7 October 1816 - 30 July 1878) of West Park, Cotherstone, farmer, was the eldest son of Henry Bowron of Bowes, labourer, who married Mary Pratt of Timpton Hill at Brignall, Yorkshire, North Riding on 11 April 1814. John had a younger brother Henry and a sister (? Isabella) who married Thomas Longstaff and was the mother of Mrs. Abigail Holmes.
ISABELLA BOWRON
Isabella Bowron (20 March 1821 - 26 January 1904) was the second and eldest surviving daughter of Edward and Isabella Walton.
MR. HENRY BOWRON
Henry Bowron was the younger brother of John Bowron of West Park near Cotherstone, maintained through the Teesdale Union at Clifton Asylum, York.
MR. HENRY BOWRON
Henry Bowron (17 March 1852 - 28 June 1903) was the eldest son of John and Isabella Bowron of West Park, Cotherstone, farmed at Low Shipley, near Cotherstone, and then he became a cattle and sheep dealer. He was executor of the estate of A.B. Nicholson.
MRS MARY ANN RAINE (NEE BOWRON)
Mary Ann Raine (4 October 1853 - May 1915) was the eldest daughter of John and Isabella Bowron of West Park. She married George Raine who died in 1907.
MISS MARGARET BOWRON
Margaret Bowron (21 July 1865 - 5 January 1887) as the third daughter of John and Isabella Bowron of West Park and died intestate.
MISS JANE BOWRON
Jane Bowron (26 November 1867 - ?) was the youngest child of John and Isabella Bowron of West Park. She was cared for by her mother until 1904 and then by Mrs. Etherington in Lartington (at least until February 1923).
MRS ISABELLA JOPLING (NEE BOWRON)
Isabella Jopling (1 January 1864 - 28 November 1909) was the second daughter of John and Isabella Bowron of West Park. She married William Jopling (son of Joseph Jopling of Victoria Street, Barnard Castle, Registrar of births, marriages and deaths), who immigrated to South Africa (c. 1912). They had one daughter, Margaret Isabel who married Cecil Markham and lived at Limekilns, near Dunfermline.
JOHN BOWRON
John Bowron (14 April 1855 - ?) was the second son of John and Isabella Bowron of West Park. He married Jane Eleanor Bigg and lived in South Norwood. He became a commercial traveller for the firm of Joseph Travers & Sons Ltd., 119 Cannon Street, London E.C. Tea Merchants [both his brothers Edward and William Bowron were associated with this firm]
