Lease and release by (1) to (2) of property in Northgate, Darlington, comprising a house occupied by Edward Chipchase and Jonathan Perkin as tenants; a house adjoining it on the north side, with a little garden behind it, occupied by William Carleton, bounded by a house and a 'toofall back kitchen' and other back buildings belonging to (1) on the north, a house belonging to Timothy Richardson and 6 yds. of the town street, on the south, by the same town street on the east, and by 2 gardens belonging to (1) on the west; and a garden on the west side of the 2 houses, containing 1r 37p, bounded by the previously-described house on the east, land belonging to Joseph Maude on the west, the other garden belonging to (1) on the north, and a garth formerly belonging to Caleb Hedley and now to John Rutter on the south

Lease and release by (1) to (4) in trust, half for (2) and half for (3), of a house on the north side of Northgate, Darlington, occupied by (2); a house adjoining the first house on the north side, occupied by (3); a yard behind the houses; a building on the north side of the yard, part of which (2) and (3) use as a candle-making workshop; a building used as a wool comber's shop on the west side of the yard; a piece of ground staked out on the west of the comb-shop, measuring 28 feet from north to south and 10 feet from east to west, part of a garden belonging to (1) containing 1r 37p and contracted to be sold to Nathaniel Plews and others to build houses on, together with a right of way for (2) and (3) from their property to Northgate over land belonging to (1) but intended to be conveyed to (4), lying on the south side of the staked-out ground, measuring 25 feet from north to south and 10 feet from east to west, from there over a road about to be converted to a street leading from Northgate to the houses about to be built on the building land by (4); the whole property bounded by Northgate on the east, the remainder of the 1r 37p garden on the west, a house and back buildings formerly belonging to John Kendrew and now to John Tolson on the north, and a house, yard, comb-shop and small piece of ground intended to be conveyed by (1) to (4) on the south
